Installation and Operation of Emergency Safety Showers

1. The fundamental guideline is to position emergency safety showers as close to workstations as possible. They must be readily accessible, with an unobstructed path, enabling immediate flushing, ideally within 5 seconds of an incident.

Water Pressure and Temperature

1. Emergency safety showers are linked to the cold water system, guaranteeing a supply of pure and refreshing water. The temperature range should ideally be between 8ºC and 20ºC.
2. Eye washes feature variable pressure atomizing lips, adjustable to local hydraulic conditions, ensuring optimal performance.
