Vitamin K2 (MK-4) or menaquinone-4 is an essential cofactor for enzymes that activate blood-clotting factors as well as vitamin K-dependent (VKD ) proteins involved in bone metabolism, arterial calcification, growth control, and signal transduction.

To treat and prevent osteoporosis, vitamin K2 generates bone protein, and then together with calcium to form bone, increasing bone density and preventing fractures;  2.  Vitamin K2 prevents cirrhosis from progressing to liver cancer;  3.  Treatment of vitamin K2 deficiency prolapse, promote the formation of thrombin, accelerate blood coagulation and maintain normal blood clotting time;
