Indications:

1. This product is used to prevent postoperative infection caused by anaerobic bacteria, especially suitable for gastrointestinal tract and female reproductive system anaerobic bacteria infection.

2. This product is used for the following infections that are confirmed or likely to be caused by anaerobic bacteria such as Bacteroides, Fragile Bacteroides, other Bacteroides, Clostridium, Peptococcus, Eubacterium, Fermentans Streptococcus, Veillonococcus, etc. : such as severe pericoronitis, severe oral space infection; Sepsis, sinusitis, pneumonia, empyema, lung abscess, osteomyelitis, peritonitis and surgical wound infection; Gastrointestinal and female reproductive system infections.
 

Usage and dosage:

1. Prevention of infection caused by anaerobic bacteria after surgery:

The total amount of 1.6g is divided into one or two slow intravenous drops, the first time 2 to 4 hours before the operation and the second time during the operation or within 12 to 24 hours after the operation.

2. Treatment of infections caused by anaerobic bacteria:

Intravenous drip slowly, once a day, 0.8g each time, for 5 to 6 days, when a certain type of infection makes it difficult for the patient to recover, the course of treatment depends on the clinical situation.

Precautions:

1. The infusion speed of this product should be slow, when the concentration is 2mg/ml, each infusion time should be not less than 1 hour, when the concentration is greater than 2mg/ml, the infusion speed should be reduced by 1-2 times. Medications should not come into contact with aluminum-containing needles and cannulas, and should be avoided with other medications.

2. Carcinogenic and mutagenic effects: animal tests or in vitro tests have found that this product has carcinogenic and mutagenic effects, but there is a lack of data in human body.

3. If the central nervous system adverse reactions occur during the course of treatment, the drug should be stopped in time.

4. This product can interfere with the test results of alanine aminotransferase, lactate dehydrogenase, triacylglycerol, hexokinase, etc., so that its determination value can be reduced to zero.

5. Alcohol should not be consumed during the medication, because it can cause acetaldehyde accumulation in the body, interfere with the oxidation process of alcohol, resulting in disulfiram-like reactions, patients may have abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting, headache, facial flushing and so on.

6. The metabolism of this product is slowed down in patients with liver dysfunction, and the drug and its metabolites are easy to accumulate in the body, which should be reduced and the blood concentration monitoring.
